Ride the First 10 Minutes Like It’s Raining

Treat the first 10 minutes of every ride like you’re riding in the rain. Your tires, brakes, suspension, and even you need a few minutes to warm up. Take it easy until everything is up to operating temperature. Most riders don’t crash because their tires “weren’t sticky.” They crash because they asked cold tires to do too much too soon.
